Danbury Rugby has lost a beloved member of our family. In loving memory of Tpot, our Mad Hatter and forever teammate. She brought so much heart, laughter, and personality to this club, both on and off the field. We are grateful for the time we shared with her and the memories she leaves behind. She will always be part of Danbury Rugby and will be deeply missed. 🤍
The family will receive family and friends Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 6-8pm at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge, VA 22192. Friday, December 19, 2025 the family will receive family and friends from 10-11am with a service from 11am-12pm at Miller Funeral Home.
To honor Michelle, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Danbury Rugby. Half the money will go to the Disabled American Veterans group of Danbury and the other half will go to the Rugby Club to provide a fund in Michelle’s honor to help a woman who would like to play on the team but cannot afford the fees, uniforms or equipment. Please be sure to note “Teapot” for your donation when venmoing the club.

2025 CanAms recap!
This years CanAms presented a new challenge for both teams as we were moved up to club, which we met with open arms.
The Women ended the weekend as Consolation Champions!!! Very hard fought two days for them and couldn’t be more proud.
The Men ended Saturday 0-2. Both games were battles that showed both strengths and weaknesses.

The Danbury Rugby Football club is based out of Danbury, CT. Danbury Rugby was established in 1979 and comprised of players from across Connecticut as well as Southeastern New York.
Both Men and Women teams welcome players of any experience level.
Practices are held every Tuesday and Thursday, 7-9pm at
49 High Ridge Rd, Danbury, CT 06811.
